Dan and Shivani met in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan in New York City many years ago. During that time they were training at two of the most prestigious Top-5 medical institutions in the world. Their decision to move West was one of the most important and life-changing moments of their lives. They have since been determined to provide the absolute best care to their Las Vegas neighbors.

Dr. Daniel Golden is a distinguished board certified Emergency Medicine physician and healthcare leader, currently serving as an ER Medical Director and Director of Quality & Patient Safety here in Las Vegas. He actively practices as an attending ER physician and sits on several hospital boards and committees, bringing a deep commitment to clinical excellence and system-wide quality improvement.
Dr. Golden completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian’s Cornell and Columbia University Hospitals, where he was recognized with multiple honors including the Outstanding Citizenship Award and Quality Improvement Champion designation. He earned a Doctor of Medicine from Albany Medical College where he received a near full scholarship. As a second career physician, he previously held a leadership role with the FDNY Center for Terrorism & Disaster Preparedness and was a Firefighter with the FDNY’s Search & Rescue Ladder Company 24, where he earned multiple Pre-Hospital Save Commendations and several FDNY-affiliated scholarships.
A published researcher and frequent academic presenter, Dr. Golden has authored more than 50 local, regional, and national publications and presentations. His career reflects a unique integration of frontline emergency care, disaster preparedness, public service, and academic leadership.
CMO and Medical Director
Dr. Shivani Golden is an acclaimed board certified Geriatrics and Family Medicine physician with extensive experience in primary care, post-acute and long-term care. She is the Medical Director at two skilled nursing facilities in Las Vegas, a Geriatrics Clerkship Director for a local Internal Medicine residency and also practices as an attending physician.
Dr. Golden completed her Geriatrics Medicine Fellowship at the #1 Ranked Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she also served as a Quality Improvement Fellow. She is board-certified by both the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine in Geriatric Medicine.
Throughout her career, Dr. Golden has held leadership roles including Quality Improvement Director at a 500-bed rehabilitation facility in New York, where she implemented evidence-based protocols to improve patient safety, clinical documentation, and care transitions. She has also contributed to physician leadership and education through her work with NYU Langone School of Medicine and national organizations such as PALTmed (formerly the American Medical Directors Association), where she served as a Futures Scholar, and as a Community Ambassador for the American Association for Physician Leadership.
Her academic contributions include publications in the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society and Journal of Gerontology & Geriatrics Education, as well as presentations at national conferences on quality improvement, geriatrics, and post-acute care. Passionate about improving care for older adults, Dr. Golden combines clinical expertise with a strong background in healthcare quality, patient safety, and medical education.
